All policies published have been approved by the governing body and a signed copy is available from the school.
All policies are written in accordance with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) which was ratified by the UK government on 16th December 1991.
Each policy also follows current legislation related to it. All staff are made aware of, and expected to adhere to the relevant legislation and articles contained in the convention.
If you require a free of charge printed copy of any of our policies please contact the school office.
If you need any further assistance in relation to the school’s Policies including the Complaints Policy please contact the School’s Business Leader Mrs Lynette Phillips in the first instance via admin@hattonspecialschool.co.uk and she will arrange for someone from the school to contact you ( possibly the school’s Family Support Advisors or a member of staff) or signpost you to an organisation external to the school such as RIASS ( Redbridge Information Advice and Support Service) https://find.redbridge.gov.uk/kb5/redbridge/fsd/localoffer.page?localofferchannel=1_1_10 or FIND ( Redbridge Families Information Direct) https://find.redbridge.gov.uk/kb5/redbridge/fsd/site.page?id=t2idkWOYX90
